Signed Debian package channel for the SkyMob edge appliances.
Carries skbridge, the LAN↔cloud bridge appliance, and
skprinter, the label printer service that runs alongside it — both
for amd64 (virtual machines) and arm64 (the physical
appliance). Requires Debian 13 (trixie) or newer.
sudo apt install -y curl
sudo install -d /etc/apt/keyrings
sudo curl -fsSL https://apt.skymob.app/skymob.asc -o /etc/apt/keyrings/skymob.asc
sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/skymob.sources >/dev/null <<'EOF'
Types: deb
URIs: https://apt.skymob.app
Suites: stable
Components: main
Signed-By: /etc/apt/keyrings/skymob.asc
EOF
sudo apt update
sudo apt install skbridge
Add skprinter if the site prints labels. The two are independent
and coexist on one appliance. Every later upgrade is
sudo apt upgrade.
New versions land on a beta suite first and stay there until they
have proven themselves. To let a site take them early, add it alongside
stable — not instead of it, since beta is empty between
candidates:
sudo sed -i 's/^Suites: stable$/Suites: stable beta/' \
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/skymob.sources
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
Reverse the edit to leave. apt will not downgrade on its own, so a machine
already carrying a beta version goes back with
sudo apt install <package>=<version> --allow-downgrades.
skymob.asc — verify with
gpg --show-keys before trusting it:
